Our club is family friendly and semi-contact. We train hard but teach good control.

Bradford Shotokan Academy is a member of the EKA, a small, but friendly karate association based in England. The EKA is also a proud member of the WKC World Karate Confederation.

Sensei Fawcett has had a career spanning over forty years in the world of karate.

Sensei Fawcett spent over 15 years fighting for England in tournaments around the world. He won many national and international trophies and also became a european gold and silver medal winner.

Sensei Fred has the knowledge and experience to deliver the highest quality karate martial arts training.

Led by Sensei Fred Fawcett, 9th Dan - Bradford Shotokan Academy has been running for over 40 years. A family club, we deliver excellent martial arts training for both adults and kids.

Come and train with the champions at BSA

Many of our students go on to compete and win in local and national Karate competitions. Both current and past members have won the National Championships on several occasions.

Join us for training three times every week.

We meet on Tuesday and Friday evenings and Sunday Mornings. The Karate lessons start with a light warm-up and then some basic exercises. This is followed by the main Karate training.
