We prefer to be fair and transparent about costs and fees associated with studying Karate.
Students are required to pay for training in advance but we understand cost of living pressures and accept payment for training fees flexibly - weekly or monthly rather than quarterly or annually.
Annual fees such as Insurance or Association Memberships are due on the anniversary of your membership with the club.

Students are accepted from 7 years upwards, there is no upper limit and you are never "too old" to start learning Karate.
Please have a discussion with the Lead Instructor who will will talk to you about making some reasonable adjustments to your training.
You should wear loose fitting tracksuit bottoms or shorts and a t-shirt. If you have long hair, tie it back and take off any jewelery or piercings.
Most students pay by cash but you can arrange to pay with paypal in advance on arrangement. We do not have a card machine unfortunately!
You are welcome to join, We have respect for all martial arts styles and styles of Karate. If you already have some training you're likely to advance quickly.
Tuesday 7.15pm, Friday 7pm and Sunday 11am. There is also a supplementary advanced Kata class on Sunday at 10.15am for brown and black belts.
Beginners classes are held on Sunday mornings on arrangement with Sensei Fred in advance. The classes run for 4 weeks and aim to give you the foundations of Karate, setting you up for training in the main class.
No, at the end of your beginners course you can either join the club or walk away with no fuss.
You can join the club by filling in a membership form and paying your membership and insurance fees. After that you should train every week as often as you can.
Your training fees allow you to attend up to 3 lessons each week. Students are highly encouraged to attend them all to keep pushing forward in their karate training.
You need to inform Sensei Fred in advance by phone, text or email. Regular training is encouraged to keep you moving forward. Understandably, work, school and other commitments may come up from time to time.
As a full member of the club and from Red belt onwards - you still need to pay your fees in advance every week.
Students have different levels of fitness, by training karate regularly you will build up your fitness, flexibility and stamina.
